Our technology
Nanosilver, deposited — not dyed, not coated.
How AngelThread® embeds antimicrobial performance directly into the fibre, and why it survives what coatings can't.
Three steps. Zero compromises.
- 01
Vapor deposition
In a controlled plasma chamber, silver, TiO₂ and ZnO nanoparticles are deposited at atomic scale onto the fibre surface, forming a continuous nanostructured layer.
- 02
Fibre integration
Unlike topical finishes, the deposited layer becomes structurally bonded to the fibre, surviving mechanical processing, weaving and laundering.
- 03
Verified performance
Every lot is tested for antimicrobial reduction rate, silver retention after 50 wash cycles, and skin biocompatibility before it ships.
Why this matters for B2B buyers
Durability
Conventional silver-chloride dip-coated fabric loses most of its antimicrobial function after 10-20 washes. AngelThread® fabric retains >99% log reduction after 50+ wash cycles in accredited testing.
Biocompatibility
ISO 10993 Part 5/10 testing confirms no cytotoxicity and no skin sensitisation. Silver migration levels measured as Not Detected (ND) under standard extraction protocol.
Process compatibility
Treated fibres are drop-in compatible with standard knitting, weaving, finishing and cut-and-sew workflows. No special dye requirements.
Supply chain transparency
Every roll carries a lot ID linking to the test documentation package. Ready for Digital Product Passport data fields (GTIN, origin, fibre composition, recycling guidance).
